The electric sand spreader is used to detect and evaluate the macroscopic roughness of the road surface and the anti-sliding ability of the road surface.

★ The capacity of the sand funnel is about 70 ml. The lower opening of the sand funnel is 2.7 mm wide.
★ Sanding belt size: 50mm wide and 4mm thick.
★ Sand funnel moving speed: about 15mm / s.

★ DC motor power: 12 volts, 3.3 amps.
Calibration method of electric sand spreader:
★ Place the sand spreader flat on the glass plate and move the hourglass to the end of the sand spreader.
★ The mouth of the sand hopper and the cylinder are approximately flush. Slowly inject the prepared measuring sand through the funnel vector tube. ** The measuring cylinder is sharpened and scraped flat with a ruler along the mouth of the tube at one time. Its volume is 50ML.
★ The mouth of the funnel is approximately flush with the upper mouth of the sand spreader. Pour the sand evenly through the funnel into the hourglass, and move the funnel back and forth to make the surface of the sand approximately flush, but do not scrape the sand with any other tool.
★ Start the electric motor to make the hourglass slowly move to the other end. Measure the sand along the bottom of the hourglass and form a 5CM wide strip as shown in Figure H2.3. Stop after the sand is completely leaked.
Features of electric sand spreader:
★ Simple operation, easy to use, and avoid errors caused by human factors.
★ Brush the test site with a brush, the area is larger than the sand spreader.
★ Place the sand spreader on the road smoothly along the longitudinal direction of the road, and move the hourglass to the end.
★ According to the same steps (2) to (5) of H2.3.2, spread 50ML of sand at the test site, and measure the paving lengths L1 and L2 according to the method in Figure H2.3. ) Calculate L, accurate to 1MM.

★ According to the above method, the same place shall be measured no less than 3 times in parallel. The 3 measuring points are located on the wheel track belt, and the distance between the measuring points is 3 ~ 5M. ★ Sand preparation: take clean fine sand, dry it, sieve it, and take 0.15 ～ 0.3MM sand in an appropriate container for later use. Sand that has been used on the pavement should be re-screened and dried when recycled and reused.
★ According to T 0962-95, the method of random sampling and selection of points on the test section determines the position of the cross section where the measurement point is located. The measuring point should be selected on the wheel track strip of the carriageway, and the distance from the edge of the road should not be less than 1M.
Instructions for use of electric sand spreader:
(1) Preparation for measuring sand: take clean fine sand, dry it, sifter, and take 0.15 ～ 0.3MM sand in an appropriate container for future use. Sand that has been used on the pavement should be re-screened and dried when recycled and reused.
(2) According to T 0962-95, the method of random sampling and selection of points on the test section determines the position of the cross section where the measurement points are located. The measuring point should be selected on the wheel track strip of the carriageway, and the distance from the edge of the road should not be less than 1M.
