NS-1 mud water loss meter works:
The compressed air supplied by the pump can be adjusted to the required pressure value through the pressure reducing valve and sent to the mud cup (the passage into the mud cup is controlled by the deflation valve). The mud in the cup loses water due to the pressure difference. When the gauge pointer is stable at 0.7Mpa, the time is 30min, and the filtrate that flows out is the water loss of the mud. When the water loss is more than 8ml when measuring 7.5min, the water loss at this time is multiplied by 2, which is the approximate water loss of the mud, but the measurement time is 7.5min.

NS-1 mud water loss tester operating procedures:
★ Place the bracket on a stable table first.
★ The pressure reducing handle is withdrawn, so that the pressure reducing valve is in the dead state. At this time, there is no output, and then the vent valve is closed.
★ Install the gas cylinder and tighten the cover. Turn the pressure reducing valve handle clockwise to make the pressure gauge indicate 0.5~0.6MPa.
★ Hold the mud cup with your left hand, block the small hole of the mud cup gas joint with your index finger, pour into the mud to be tested, the height is better than the sealing ring 2~3 mm A, put the sealing ring, flatten a piece of filter paper, tighten Mud cup cover, then connect the mud cup to the tee fitting, place the 20 ml measuring cylinder under the mud cup, and align the liquid outlet.
★ Slowly rotate the vent valve handle counterclockwise while observing the pressure gauge indication. When the pressure gauge drops slightly or hears the sound of the mud in the mud cup, stop rotating the handle of the vent valve, fine-tune the handle of the pressure reducing valve, so that the pressure gauge indicates 0.69MPa, and the mud cup maintains a constant state of 0.69MPa. A droplet filtrate starts to record, take the cylinder in 30 minutes, exit the pressure reducing valve handle, close the pressure reducing valve, rotate the vent valve clockwise, and release the residual gas in the mud cup. Remove the mud cup, open the mud cup cover and take out the filter paper, wash the floating slurry on the mud cake, and measure the thickness of the mud cake.
★ Rinse and dry the mud cup, cup lid, seal ring (cool dry or dry cup lid filter).
★ Record the amount of water loss in the measuring cylinder. In order to shorten the time, it is generally possible to measure the amount of water lost in 7.5 minutes and multiply it by 2, and if necessary, measure the amount of water loss for 30 minutes.
