Fourth, the instructions for use:
★ Before measuring the viscosity, first brush the viscometer with water, then in the mud mixer for the test, stir the slurry for 1 minute, and measure the 500 and 200 ml (700 ml) of the slurry into the viscometer through the sieve. The outlet is blocked with your fingers and does not flow out.
★ When measuring, place the 500 ml measuring cup under the outflow port. When releasing the finger blocking the outlet, start the stop table at the same time. When the mud fills the 500 ml measuring cup and reaches the edge of it, press the stop table and record. The time when the lower mud flows out is the viscosity of the mud. If the mud is not thoroughly stirred in the mixer according to the above method before the viscosity is measured, the mud should be poured from the measuring cup into the viscometer again, and the measurement is repeated until the flow out. Time is no longer reduced.
★ It is convenient to hang the viscometer on the wall for testing, so that it can be operated by one person. After the measurement, the viscometer, screen and measuring cup must be rinsed with water.
★ Viscometer should always use clean water to measure the time of its outflow, which is called the “water value” of the viscometer. If the water value is greater than 15 seconds, it means that the outflow pipe is not rinsed out. It can be washed with a soft brush, cloth strip, etc. If it is less than 5 seconds, it can not be used. The normal water value is 15±0.5 seconds.
Fifth, the structure:
It is a funnel-shaped container with an outflow tube at the end. The instrument is equipped with a handle. There are two key holes on the handle. When the nail is hung on the wall, the instrument is kept vertical, and a cylindrical measuring cup is divided into two. Both sides can be used. The capacity of one side is 500 ml, the capacity of the other side is about 1000 ml, and the diameter is the same as that of the viscometer. Therefore, the sieve can be placed on both sides. The sieve is used for filtering mud. The hole is 16 holes per hour.
